SIZING
Rings
Rings are listed in US ring sizes
A helpful conversion table for different sizing standards can be found here.
Many of the rings available from Kuiper Relics feature highly mechanical settings, and bold architectural features which are integral to the ring body. Some rings cannot be resized, some can be resized minimally.
It is important to note that a wider ring, such as the Ikaros ring, may feel tighter than a narrow ring of the same size. Some find that when ordering a wider ring, going up half a size increases comfort.
If you are unsure what size to order, it is highly recommended that you purchase a finger gauge to measure your ring size. Please reach out if you need any help picking out a finger gauge.
If the ring can be resized, this is offered once as a free service. Otherwise, a return or exchange may be the best route for remedying sizing issues, on pieces that qualify for return or exchange.
Bracelets
Bracelet sizing is not standardized like ring sizing, and the specific fit can vary greatly from maker to maker. The information below applies to Kuiper Relics cuff bracelet sizes.
You can find your bracelet size by measuring height and width of your wrist, and referring to the information listed below. You can also measure the circumference of your wrist.
A tool like a vernier caliper is helpful for measuring the height and width of your wrist. To get an accurate measurement, it is important to avoid squeezing the wrist with the measurement tool.
Size 0: Wrist circumference: up to 145mm
width = 50mm, height = 42mm, opening = 27mm
Size 1: Wrist circumference: 145 to 160mm
width = 55mm, height = 46mm, opening = 30mm
Size 2: Wrist circumference: 160 to 175mm
width = 60mm, height = 50mm, opening = 33mm
Size 3: Wrist circumference: 175 to 190mm
width = 65mm, height = 54mm, opening = 36mm
Size 4: Wrist circumference: 190 to 205mm
width = 70mm, height = 58mm, opening = 39mm
The cuff geometry is designed to comfortably, but securely fit the natural shape of the wrist. The opening in the cuff may seem small at first, and it might feel difficult pushing the wrist straight through the opening. With the right technique, it is easier to roll the bracelet onto the wrist.
